Mortgage Knight Ltd is an FCA-authorised UK mortgage brokerage helping first-time buyers, home movers, landlords, contractors and self-employed clients. We also arrange specialist finance such as bridging loans, auction finance and protection.

Are you authorised and regulated?

Yes. Mortgage Knight Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 994617).

Do you help contractors and self-employed clients?

Yes. We specialise in contractor and self-employed mortgages, including day-rate contractors, umbrella and limited company set-ups, and sole traders or company directors.

Can you assist when income is paid in a foreign currency (Non-Sterling)?

Yes. We work with lenders who consider non-sterling income such as USD, EUR and INR, explaining how exchange rates and documentation requirements apply.

Do you arrange bridging loans and auction finance?

Yes. We arrange bridging loans for chain breaks and refurbishments, and fast auction finance aligned to auction timelines and conditions.

Our office is at 5 Century Court, Tolpits Lane, Watford, WD18 9PX. We advise clients across the UK.

How do you charge for your services?

We disclose any broker fees and lender commission clearly and in writing before you proceed, so you know the total cost of advice and the recommended product.

Do you help landlords and limited companies with buy-to-let?

Yes. We advise on standard and limited company buy-to-let, including portfolio landlord criteria, ICR stress testing, HMOs and MUFBs where suitable.

Do you provide protection advice?

Yes. We recommend life insurance, critical illness cover and income protection to help safeguard your mortgage and income.
